AIFA is delighted to invite you to the opning night of Brain Works .Aya Kawato's first exhibition in Switzerland .Opening Night -in Presence of The Artist.

Australian aboriginal art is tens of thousands of years old, and yet it is an amazing modernism, finding on the canvas, thanks to Western materials adopted in the 70s, the patterns, the emotional power, often the graphic minimalism of the ritual paintings, the variety of colors in addition, and a flexibility that did not allow the use of the lands of colors. Thanks to acrylic and linen, the ritual painter becomes an artist. Then came works that would not have been challenged by the great initiators of Western contemporary art, cubism, geometric abstraction, or even kinetic art.

French Founders Geneva frenchfounders_inc [ # Geneva] #Digital #Luxury Last week in Geneva, Laurent Malaveille, CEO @clarinsofficial #Switzerland delivered in a transparent way his vision of #digital #transformation in the worlds of #luxury and # beauty. Le “Digital allows you to fully express the #storytelling and the know-how of a #brand. For example, via online content or the opinions of other customers. We often forget that the digital can exalt the ultimate rarity (example of shoes: choice of size, color, width …). In the end, digital can be a way to make the shopping experience a more enjoyable and richer experience for the customer, by focusing the #dimension #human on #contact and # empathy, rather only on the administrative. ” Thank you to him for these valuable insights, to all our members and participants and to @heritagegeneve #gallery for their warm welcome!

2017 exhibition Franck Bouroullec is an artist native of France and based in Switzerland – La Tour de Peilz – since more than 11 years. As mentioned on his website, “…he eludes all familiar painting’s classifications and defies with his paintbrush time and space, leaving in his wake like a hint of eternity…”. He is primarily and internationally recognized as a performance painter due to the speed of a simple stroke of his paintbrush in his quest to touch upon the very essence, either during stage performances or for institutional artworks, such as the tribute to Charlie Chaplin realised on the frontage of two towers in Vevey – Switzerland. Franck Bouroullec manages so well its artistic fundamentals, in particular the portraiture, that he can paint in a more conventional spirit, excluding any time constraints, simply in search of the essentials. Thanks to this first exhibition in Geneva the public will discover the multiple talents

His style is a mix of instinct, which attracts us by a series of unforgettable portraits deriving from the day to day life and a utmost technical maturity, based on his illustrator and plastic arts background within the respect of great Masters. The power of his painting, far from any theoretical artistic message, is simply deriving from an insatiable appetize for artworks creation which reflects our own emotions, because we each have a portion of light and darkness inside us. Exhibition of Patricia Debuchy June 2 – 7, 2015 | HERITAGE Art Gallery, Geneva Patricia Debuchy is an artist who lives and works since 2010 in the French Haute Savoie, near Geneva. Her painting style is inevitably stamped by the impressionist inspiration full of serenity and harmony while demonstrating a contemporary creativity which stands out to our eyes. The power of her acrylics lies in the wide range of colours and the characters, frequently deriving from the childhood, are immersing ourselves in this kind of quiet nostalgia which revives some of our deep and dormant memories. The paintings representing among others either young ladies with hats or religious pictures will not leave us without any reaction because it is simply created with and from the heart! Exhibition of Jean Arcelin April 21 – 26, 2015 | HERITAGE Art Gallery, Geneva Jean Arcelin is an artist with dual nationality, Swiss and French, native of Vaud, currently living and working in Paris. His pictorial compositions are simply the results of his imagination without any cinematographic aids, using principally the oil canvas technique called “alla prima”, keen to the original “impressionist painters”, which cancels the initial undercoated and glazed steps. According to the artist, the reality is only the activation of a fancy realm where perspective and mirrors effects, fleeting and vanishing lines, deep and uncertain space and audacious panoramic framings are combined all together. His painting style is dazzling, immediate, quite audacious, challenging a bit the limits of chromatic harmony in order to highlight its otherworldly appearance. Whatever baroque interiors, seas, mountains and urban landscapes, Jean Arcelin is

Balance and contrast best describe the bold, contemporary artworks of Sylvie Hamou. Just as linguists play with words, she plays with color, geometrical forms, lines and textures. Domed, smooth, hollowed out or partially faded dots inspired by Antipodean artistic techniques, give softness to this abstract art often echoing constructivism. Sylvie Hamou’s flowing graphic combinations and juxtaposed structures are vibrant yet peaceful, simple yet captivating!
